You’re probably here because you’re ready to stop questioning yourself and start trusting your story.
Before I tell you about everything I’m doing now — the book, the TEDx talk, the podcast, the nonprofit — I want you to know something more important:
None of this came easy. And none of it came fast.
For years, I was the woman sitting across from doctors and experts, begging to be heard and believed. I was dismissed, gaslit, and left questioning my own body and my own reality. The pain was real — but so was the silence.
That silence almost broke me.
But slowly, one choice at a time, I found my way back. I stopped waiting for permission to matter. I started believing myself first.
And everything changed.
Today, I lead a growing movement to make women’s health heard, seen, and believed — because we deserve better. Through She Wasn’t Lying, my podcast, and my work as founder of The Warrior in Her, I’m using my voice to help women everywhere reclaim theirs.
You don’t need anyone else’s validation to begin.
You don’t need to explain or justify your pain.
You just need to decide: I will not be dismissed anymore.
I hope what you find here gives you the courage to believe yourself, share your story, and take back your power.
With strength and heart,
About Reganne
Reganne O’Brien is a speaker, advocate, and founder of The Warrior in Her — a nonprofit movement dedicated to empowering women facing chronic physical and mental health challenges through advocacy, support, and prevention. A passionate public health professional and mother of two, Reganne brings a deeply personal perspective to her work after years of navigating invisible illness and medical dismissal herself.
Now pursuing her Doctor of Public Health (DrPH), she leads the Strength in Wellness Initiative and speaks nationally on women’s health, gender bias, and the power of reclaiming your story. Her work bridges lived experience and evidence-based care, sparking urgent conversations on what happens when women are ignored — and what’s possible when they are finally believed.
Through her podcast, speaking, and her debut book She Wasn’t Lying, Reganne is on a mission to change how we see women’s pain, rewrite the narratives around invisible illness, and empower women everywhere to trust their voice, own their story, and demand better.
